‘Twenty’ reviewed by ifilm

Themed around characters’ personalities, it’s time for ‘Twenty’ to go under the spotlight of criticism.

Mr. Soleymani is upset most of the time, and resorts to unreasonable alibi to find fault with the staff, and to punish them; on the other hand, there’s a young musician who wants to play for the customers, just to face Soleymani’s opposition.

Later on, the boy tells the staff he’s Soleymani’s son, but keeps it under his hat, when it comes to the boss.

Fereshteh suggests to Soleymani to propose to Firouzeh and marry her, but except Bijan, who is in love with her, the others agree. Firouzeh, who has recently been allowed to reside in the wedding hall’s store room, isn’t inclined toward such a marriage, and in the end, it is revealed that the CEO himself isn’t interested, as well. He then turns out to be more kind, and invites Meysam and Bijan, who were sleeping in the pick up truck, to his room and allows Bijan to hold his wedding reception, marrying Firouzeh, in the hall. He also changes his decision about selling the hall, and tells the estate dealer he’s no more interested. This was a summary of the film.

In the next episode, we’ll delve into the story, to analyze and review it.
